Tarun Keram

TARUN KERAM

Producer / Rookie Cop

Tarun Keram’s stirring and rooted performances have the industry

taking notice. He was born and raised in Surrey, British Columbia,

Canada where he grew up spending his days playing sports with

friends after school. In grade eleven Tarun began playing Ultimate

Frisbee where he won multiple MVP medals. He came to the craft in

his last semester of high school when he enrolled in a theatre class

and uncovered his joy for acting. It took him a few more years to

acknowledge his passion and talent for it but soon after he began

landing coveted roles in TV and film. After high school, he dedicated

himself to acting through the Vancouver Film School and an agent

and roles soon followed.

Tarun has worked on numerous TV shows including The CW’s

“Arrow”, “Supergirl”, “iZombie” and “Supernatural”, Amazon’s

“Upload”, Netflix’s “Travelers”, Lifetime’s “UnREAL”, NBC’s “The

Arrangement”, FOX’s “Prison Break” and ABC’s “Once Upon a

Time”. He also had prominent roles on CBS’s “Twilight Zone” and "The Stand", The

CW’s “Charmed” and "DC's Legends of Tomorrow", Hulu’s “Marvel’s Helstrom” and SYFY’s “The

Magicians”.

Most recently Tarun landed coveted roles on both Netflix's "Virgin River" as Doctor Keram and ABC's "The Good Doctor" as Jake Kahn.

William Belleau

WILLIAM BELLEAU

Robert Esket

William is of the Shuswap First Nation with the Esketemc Band. He grew up on a reservation in central British Columbia, Alkali Lake. Later his mother Marilyn and father Dave, both Residential Surviviors, would move to Edmonton until his preteens. Moving back, William started acting in local plays for his community and high-school. The first taste of film came when he auditioned for a speaking role on a mini-series called 'Dreamkeeper' (2002). Later, having achieved a partial scholarship, a reluctant William headed to New York City, leaving behind his small reservation with a population of about 1000. Graduating with honours from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Art, William moved to Vancouver, BC where he would book his first role in 'Twilight Saga: Eclipse' (2010).
       
During his free time, William has given back to his community teaching first nations youth acting for Film and Television. He has celebrated sobriety from alcohol for over 16 years. His proudest moment was working with Anthony Hopkins in 'Blackway' (2015) “I remember it was one scene in Vernon, BC, a small town in my home province in Canada. Tony looked me dead in the eye and smiled 'Good work.'"
Since then he has learned that he can “swim with sharks” with the likes of Ron Livingston, Lorne Cardinal and Sandra Bullock in 'The Unforgivable' (2021). William recently wrapped on Martin Scorsese’s 'Killers of the Flower Moon' (2023), working alongside Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio. The film will premiere at The Cannes Film Festival 2023.

Lifers marks a decade-long return to working with writer/director Ranjit Samra after their highly successful short film 'The Dancing Cop' (2012) premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Ranjit Samra

RANJIT SAMRA

Writer / Producer / Nightshift Cop

Based out of Vancouver British Columbia, Canada, Ranjit Samra is an actor (Keep Breathing, Midnight Club), artist (worked on the first two posters for Vancouver International South Asian Film Festival with comic book icon Ken Steacy) and first time director. Working visually, Samra storyboarded Lifers and wrote the script afterward. Recently retired as a Special Provincial Constable, Lifers is based on his real life encounter with a dying patient.

Allison Klause

ALLISON KLAUSE

Producer / Lieutenant Morowski

Allison Klause was born and raised in small-town Alberta where the vivid theatre scene of Edmonton and the International Fringe Festival inspired her to pursue a future in the arts. Klause studied theatre production at Grant MacEwan University and graduated with a greater appreciation for behind-the-scenes magic and a thirst for more time in the spotlight.

Relocating to Vancouver in 2013 in an attempt to quench that thirst, Klause found herself training on-camera, behind the camera and in voiceover to round out her skills as a filmmaker and performer.

Since dedicating herself to film and television, Klause has found success landing herself roles on popular shows such as CW's 'Charmed' and 'Batwoman' as well as CBS's 'Twilight Zone'  and Hallmark Channel's popular film 'Time for You to Come Home for Christmas'

Most recently she has been awarded 'Best Psychedelic Film' at the Silk Road Film Awards for her short 'Tadwīm' which Klause produced and starred in. She can also be seen playing Kathleen Kennedy in the new biopic 'Still : A Michael J. Fox Movie' which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2023 and is now available on Apple TV+.

Grace Chin

GRACE CHIN

Grace Chin is a Vancouver, BC based performer, writer/editor, and arts administrator. She is a UBCP/ACTRA and PGC member.

As a performer, Grace has appeared on ABC, CBS, The CW, E!, Showcase, Hallmark, Lifetime, Freeform, CBC, Netflix, and AppleTV+, with credits on series such as 'Supernatural', 'Riverdale' and 'Firefly Lane', as well as shorts and feature films, including 'The Age of Adaline'. Chin has written both a short film 'The Eulogy' which is currently in post-production and the stage play 'A Funny Thing Happened On My Way to Canada' which is in development. She is co-founder of Scripting Aloud, Executive Director of Crazy8s Film Festival and General Manager at Ruby Slippers Theatre. To top it off Chin is on the board at the Vancouver Short Film Festival, regularly contributing to panels, juries, mentorship and consulting. Previously, she served on the board for Vancouver Asian Canadian Theatre, as Interim Managing Director of the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival and as Festival Director of the Vancouver Asian Film Festival. 

Patrick Belanger

PASCAL BELANGER

Prisoner

Pascal was born Joseph Jacques Luc Pascal Belanger in the Eastern Townships in the province of Quebec, Canada.

His family moved to British Columbia when he was 10 years old. Belanger was always active in sports and started to develop socially when he discovered he was good at dancing as a teenager. He competed in ballroom dancing in his early twenties and occasionally still teaches social dancing. Belanger's creative side was put on the back burner as he was supporting his family with employment in the business and construction industries, but he started to develop a need to express himself creatively again in his middle years. At the request of his daughter, he joined her in working in the film industry as a background extra. He soon gained a passion for acting, exploring parts of himself that he had not allowed to be seen before.

Belanger continues to train as a professional actor, enjoying the challenge of working with increasingly more complex characters, like his role as Prisoner in 'Lifers'.

Terri Siduquay

TERRI SIDUQUAY

Technologist

Actor, writer, producer and filmmaker, Terri was born and raised in British Colombia, Canada. There she discovered her passion for story-telling and acting in high school. In 2019 she was the lead in the play “5 Women Wearing the Same Dress” and has appeared in a number of independent films.

Her film “KARMA-RER” which she wrote, directed, produced and starred in won numerous awards including Best Script at Germany’s New Wave Film Festival, Best Screenplay at the Thrills and Chills Festival and Best Comedy at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival. Her mission is to create artistic projects and stories that bring awareness, explore humanity and incorporate diversity. 

Terri is currently in pre-production for her next project.

Asia Mattu

ASIA MATTU

Radio News Broadcaster (voice)

Asia Mattu is an award-nominated voice actor whose versatility knows no bounds. She's best known for her role as Rugo in the critically acclaimed show 'Gigantosaurus', airing on Disney Jr. and Disney+. She also voices Aurora in fandom favourite 'My Little Pony: Best Gift Ever' and Rocky in Netflix's hit kids' show 'Super Monsters'. In addition to TV and film, Asia can be heard in multiple video games, including 'Cadence of Hyrule' and 'Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2'. When she's not talking to herself in a padded room, Asia is an avid drummer, and martial arts practitioner and likes to make fresh pasta from scratch.
